Well it was really cold this morning 18 degree...........
Fishing was slow only managed 4 fish in 4 hours...Did i say it was COLD!!!!
But the view!!! i have never fished from my boat on a lake with snow on the banks. The bald eagles were really active today. saw both the male and the female.

all in all it was a great day

Something about fishing in rough elements just makes it more fun when you actually bring home some fish.

Those pictures look familiar. Oh yah, those are the same ones I saw at Walmart. Is that your son in the dresed for the elements pose?

18 degree? man oh man...i would never fish in that kinda whether...way to stick it out there in cold

Ya Rod that is Payton my Navy Son and the one you remember from santa fe. i had my Al-Qaida mask on u know with the 3 holes and i was wearing sunglasses over that just them.

To Pete- Now, that's a dedicated fisherman! You've definitely separated the men from the boys on this one. I remember last year at the Jewel, launching in 27 degree weather. The dock was frozen like an ice cube, as the dock boys were saying be careful! As always, thanks for the report and toughing it out.....

Vince it snowed for a couple hours at my house Friday night around 11 pm
