Jess Ranch 2/13/2009

Me and My Girl Friend "Roxy" went out to Jess Ranch Friday Morning.
this was her First Time Fishing.
She was Complaining About the 40 Mph Wind and the the temp being in the mid 30s.
After 20 mins She got a hit. The Bendo!!
I Told her How to Bring it in, It Fought all the way. Jumping up out the water.
After she got it in She did not want to hold it. So I took a pic and Weigh it,
A nice 3lbs 6 oz. "Woman almost broke my record"
She was getting Cold and wanted to go. Then I got one it was on my ugly stick not My ultra light. I thought she beat me for the day, But when I got the trout in it was a 3lbs 13 oz
"I beat my own Record".
It was too cold for me to tie new hooks on and the ones The trout took was in too deep to retrieve. She couldn't Brave the weather any longer So we took off after being there a Hour and 15 mins.

WTG!!!! 40mph winds and 30° :Shocked: if my wife was there she wouldn't get out :LOL: Nice work for hour and 1/2. Imagine if you where ther longer? :Wink::Secret:

Not bad for an hour 15 min of fishing. the weather does get really cold up there. The wind is what got me last time I was up there. It froze my hands.

Nice report and Pics! I understand that Friday was Windy!

LadyFish and I were up there today for Prize Day. We fished only for about 3 hours off of Lake 3 today on Grassy Pt. We saw some quality fish being pulled out for prize day. I think one of them weighed in just under 8lbs! We had to take off to go get some food from the market..
We had a couple nice ones that we lost.. Guess we are rusty.. hehe
Wish I could have stayed for the Raffle and all.. :Sad:

Not too insane.... on the far right of the pic you can barly make out a Starbucs...
within a hour and a half we got a couple of nice fish then kick back in a warm place with a coffee Latte

My first time there it was too windy to fish So I used the skunk pound...


LadyFish and I were up there today for Prize Day.

They told me about that, But I like to fish when there is less pressure.
