Red Drum

Went out for an afternoon/evening critter fish/bug trip with Martin and Jason, aboard Martin’s 20ft Larson “The Looper”.
Unfortunately, the wind was blowing over 15 knots, so we opted to stay in the harbor and fish for critters along the break wall. We were hoping that the wind would back off later in the afternoon, but it never did.
On my second cast I got the skunk off the boat with a 20 inch Halibut.

Did a little bugging but the poor sea conditions and a big seal chased us off the water after getting seven legals. Still had a blast fishing on the big pond. Can’t wait to go again.
Till next tide,
