Got there at 3am, Started catching right away:Big Grin:,caught 6 at the 1st spot<GATES>.
All caught on rebel lures and lucky craft pointers,,all released. All caught just ABOVE the gates.
Left there at 5 30 am and went to our second spot,<SIPHON> it was not quite as good but still productive.
The sun was coming up so we swiched to tubes and flukes fished on 1/4 and 1/2 oz jig heads ,,bouncing thelm off the bottom and and drifting thelm with the current ,,managed to land 6 more like that.

We both farmed 5 or 6 during the morning also.

Back home by 8 15 am

Heres glen with the 2 he kept

Trail Blazer, I got that one lucky craft lure you have. Perfect for me to use it for the Duct. I used it for the Skinner Lake when the water is flowing in inlet.

I use that lure alot at the duct ,,but i do prefer the american shad color over the rainbow trout color for the duct stripe,s,,i lost my am shad color 1 on one of the safety ropes that are strung up across the canal:mad:,,got to get me another one

Oh yeah.

I have another one is blue minnow. I am sure you have seen my post before stiper loves this color blue, too.

blue minnow, american shad, and rainbow trout, seem all work as well in the Duct

Is this in Palmdale? I was just out there for work looking for a place to fish, but only found the fin and feather, and apollo park in lancaster. Where is the duct? It'd be good to know as I a out there about once a month or so on business.

Full moon bite!

YEP!!!!!!!!
FULL MOON is on the 9th
wich makes the night bite WIDE OPEN till the 13th or so <as long as you can find the fish>
There real easy to spook though,,,shining flashlights on the water or banging stuff around on the ground or even loud talking seems to really put thelm down for a little while.
