This is now officiali my new favorite lake =). We got there around 4:40 and i set-up two of my rods ands and in just 5 mins I get a lightning trout =) I was happy and it put up a real good fight! Then after I put in in the stringer the other one goes of! I was surprised!
That was my pb trout so far in the day. And man we chould see schools of lightning trout everywhere!!! But they whouldint take the panther marthen. So the it started getting dark and the light pole did not work =( so we moved to the dam but I didn't like it there so we moved again and this time it was my moms turn to get a trout so she got a nice rainbow. Then I decided to use garlic powerbait. And man they loved it I got a small one rite away. Then after throwing it back in I got the last and biggest one!! My new pb. Man it faought like crazy!! It kept jumping out of the water it was the best fight of my fishing history. But what was sad is that it had another treble hook in its mouth and it also had a string coming out of his you know what.. so that mean it broke off a couple of peoples rods. I was gonna film the schools of lightning trout but I didn't think of that because I was so excided. Well ill post pics in about 30 mins okay =)

haha Congrats man. The pic of the fishon mom's tile floor is classic. :Envious: Did you try throwing a mini jig into the school of lightning trout? I ususally can persuade them to bite that way if they are not taking the spinner.

Man Im jealous:Crying::Smile:...great job buddy. I have never caught one. Im going to try my luck on the next stock, since my cash flow is low. I going to have to settle for Legg lake or peck road...I know, people tell me that the poachers probably got all the fish. Just being out their with my pole is better than staying home.

Great Job out there. You and your mom look SOOOOOO happy in your pictures . Even though it had a hook in it, it is not injured. Fish will feed still and live fine. The hooks rust out in a matter of days and they go about their business.
