My buddy and i went out this morning off balboa island. We got there at 730 just after the peak of high tide. Buddy of mine has just started fishing but he has become a natural. He was catching them faster than me. We were using the chovie swim baits. It really sucks cause all this fish that we caught chew up our swim baits. Went to the grant boys and they were all out. Went to this other shop that i know of and they were just too expensive. Anyways it was a great day. My friend caught 5 Bass all over 14in.
I caught two sandies, a spotted bay bass, and a 6in halibut.

Sorry about not having pics. Im still too worried about getting the camera wet and it never working again.

Congrats on getting some NPB fish.

Use a cheapo water resistant disposable.

Or get a U/W housing.

Well I went to the local Wal-mart and i found a water tight box there for about $7. I threw it in the pool yesterday and it works. So now i have somewhere to bring the keys/camera/phone all with me.
