Pyramid the crazy stuff is getting ready to start again

I HAD A LATE POSTPONING OF A JOB ,SO I HAULED IT UP THE PYRAMID,HIT THE WATER AND WAS OFF,THE LAKE IS AT FULL POOL AND THE WATER IS VERY CLEAR,THE WATER TEMP WAS 50-51 ALL DAY. SAW ALOT OF MARKS AND SHAD IN THE CHANNEL ,JUST ABOUT THE TIME I GOT TO THE MAIN BODY OF THE LAKE I GOT SLAMMED IT FOUGHT SO HARD I THOUGHT IT WAS STRIPER BUT IT WAS A NICE BASS,TOOK HIS PIC PUT HIM BACK THEN I TURNED AROUND TO MAKE ANOTHER PASS THE NEXT TIME I WENT IN FRONT OF THE MINOR POINT I GOT SLAMMED AGAIN THIS TIME IT WAS A NICE STRIPER TOOK HIS PIC AND KEPT ROLLING. TODAY I WAS NOT IN THE KILL MODE MORE OF A SCOUTING TRIP.AFTER A COUPLE MORE PASSES FOR ZIP IT WAS ON WITH THE TROLL. THE BASS AND STRIPERS WERE CLOSE TO EACH OTHER FEEDING ON THE SHAD, THEY WERE BOTH IN ABOUT THIRTY TO FORTY FEET OF WATER GORGING ON THE BAIT FISH. I ENDED UP WITH THREE NICE STRIPERS ALL RELEASED ONE VERY BIG ONE I GO HALF WAY IN BEFORE I GOT THE HUGE HEAD SHAKE OUT OF THE WATER THEN A ROLL BREAKING MY LEADER,I GOT SOME STRIPEY BUT STRIPEY GOT SOME OF ME.I GOT 7 OR 8 BASS ,WITH TWO REAL BIG FISH SHAKING ME OFF ON THE SURFACE , I GOT THE BASS BUT THE BASS HANDLED ME ALSO, IT WAS VERY WARM FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR AND THE WIND WAS DOWN ,CANT WAIT TO GO BACK,I HOPE IT WILL BE LAST WINTER WHEN THE BASS AND STRIPERS WENT CRAZY,,,troutonly,,,NICE TALKING TO THE TWO BASS PROS TODAY YOU GUYS WHERE VERY NICE,,,

Reading "Trout Only's "Pyramid report makes me feel like a loser.I've been taking days off from work and still haven't gone to get my license .Yet I've been enjoying this site while waiting for kids to get out of school and reading everyones outings and just now realized that I'M SUCH A LOSER! My rods sit idle while I tap on keys. I know my kid's come first so I feel like I don't have time but Mr.Onlys just lit the fire under my *** with his report. I'm going out and loading my gear in the car and making no more excuses. I'll be ready whether its a couple of hours or a few minutes ,I'm fishn in some body of water and soon.

I just happen to know a lill some some about this lake.....you will soon see 3 different groupings of fish getting active and when they do that, something will blow up and go off in 3 stages...


My predictions for upcoming months....probably take about 1 month to fully kick into gear...

Let's see about an exploratory trip real soon...maybe saturday....IN THE RAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ohhhh yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thats the idea....get on some action whenever ya can whether an hour or a day....time on the water Equals FISH !

You wont get on 'em at home.....just be determined and get out there...
