Wonder what a camera like this would cost???

You can use the roller on your mouse, or use the bar on the left side of the page to navigate and get in really close.
You can also put the cursor on a spot and double click and it will automatically zoom to that spot
What a surveillance tool this is. Your can actually see people over half a mile away on rooftops. (Probably Secret Service Agents).
This picture was taken with a robotic camera and with 1,474 megapixel. (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera). It was a Canon that pulled together over 200 individual shots. Each zoom in takes a second to focus ...and then you can see some amazing reactions.
Bonus points if you find Yo-Yo Ma .... taking a picture with his iPhone.

I thought Yo-Yo Ma was a rapper.

I had to google the name, and low and behold, not a rapper. No wonder I couldn't find 'em.

Do I get bonus points for finding Waldo?

Cool surveillance cam. The secret service agents stick out like a sore thumb (every obvious one has a beanie on).

I wonder if Irvine Lake's cam carries this resolution...it would be interesting to review the Vine camping ground tapes after a saturday night!

Anglers in the night, exchanging glances....

Actually, it looks like you can use your point and shoot camera (don't even need an SLR), as it's really the robotic mount that you need:

The one they have now is $379.00, and they have another in the works. Looks very cool.

Well, sort of.

Taking panoramic photos, versus taking high resolution panoramic photos are not the same thing.

You can use a ole plain and shoot and the robotic mount to take a panorama of anything, but you won't be able to have the amount of resolution that this camera used.
