Headline: Fished for 45 minutes with no luck.
My boat is being repaired at Lakeside Boats (Gideon is taking good care of me) so seeing as how I had to drive up to Castaic anyway, I figured I'd make a couple of casts at the Lagoon. I fish the upper all the time but have never fished the lagoon but have read many posts from the FNN crew and it was a beautiful day. Worked the shoreline left of the launch ramp with a drop shot Roboworm and also a whacky-rigged Senko and didn't get a bite. But the lifeguard came by in his boat, asked how I was doing, and then said someone landed a 17-pounder this past Friday. Anyone hear about that?
Boat will be ready on Friday so I'm heading back up to Castaic Saturday. Anyone got any advice on what's been working? I'm hoping the warm weather holds and the fish will be active.
