I got to the Vine at 5:30am. Not too many people at this time. Thanks Steelers!!!:Big Grin: I called to see if my Bud Chuck aka Koshaw had arrived. He was there 3 cars from the gate, I was a little further back. As I was about to go threw the gate,there was one of my favorite Vine Employees... Patrick aka Troutman65. In his shorts and is sick with a cold:Shocked: Men:Rolls Eyes:. Do you owned pants Patrick?!:ROFL:
Koshaw was waiting for me a little passed the gates,because he never fished the Flats and had no idea where it was. Got to my favorite spot and it was already taken.:Confused: There was plenty of space! Thanks again Steelers:Big Smile:.
Koshaw and I set up and waited about 1/2 hour and... fish on! My first!
Sweeeet. I didn't grab the camera! The next one up was Chuck! Here's a pic:

Then my favorite Vine Employee came by to say hello... Blart (The Mall Guy) Just kidding Patrick. :Wink: He is sporting his new jacket,nice TM65!

I got one more Trout. My biggest was 2 lbs.

Things slow down,it was like pulling teeth for the rest of the day. Koshaw got his limit,but it took almost the whole day to get it!
I caught two.

I did see my favorite rod maker Emilio aka Pargo. He gave me some smoked fish he did the night before. He said he had to fight off the wolves that was trying to get my smoke fish!:ROFL: Thanks for beating off those animals! I know I will enjoy it.
I missed seeing my favorite Volunteer Mitz. Patrick said he was there,but he didn't stop by to say hello. I'm sooo sad:Crying:

Nice report & pics. Cindy. As a matter of fact I don't own a pair of pants.:LOL: Congrats on your catch. Thats better than a Skunk for sure. Chucks new 12' fishing rod sure is nice. You can cast it a country mile . I think that helped him get his limit too. See you at the lake next time.:Big Grin:

I didn't tell you Guys what we used:
Koshaw bait of choice was a green power worm w/a green egg and a pink worm w/ a white egg w/Bang spray. His new 12ft set was the one that was catching I believe 4 of the five he caught! That thing is nice,along w/ a Shimano Stategic 1000 reel.
The fish I caught was on a pink power worm, white eggw/ Anchovie gel and the other was w.green worm and green power egg w/ garlic dip.
I thought he caught more because he line was out further. Cindy:Big Grin:

I got more with the chartreuse power worms with the chartreuse egg tho.

Love that new custom 12' rod that can be used for fresh water AND for Surf Fishing! Its rated 6-20lbs and is made from a blank from Europe and IMG 10 O_o. It casts pretty far with my new Shimano Stradic 1000FI :D

Spitbreaker made it and he is taking orders. =^^= Hope to see you guys soon!

Before I leave I want to wish you all the luck on your surgery and a speedy recovery, as someone thats been under the knife before DON'T worry it will go smoothly. John

Much appreciated John. I just got out of the hospital today(Wednesday). Everything went great! It only hurt when I moved:Evil:
I was suppose to leave on Monday,but they wouldn't let me leave cause of things I couldn't do. I was much better today and demanded to go home. Very sore and walkin' funny:Shocked:,but a whole lots better than last Friday.Ha! Ha! I'm hoping to to be ready for the Tourney at the end of the month,only if I can bum a ride on someone's boat.
