Hit up a local creek today with FNN members annex138 and mth1997.
Mapped out some of the area with GPS and covered new ground near an old spot.

Not too much action all together for the ground covered but we all caught a couple nice fish and saw many more, and larger ones for next trip. Not too often everyone catches a good one and a couple more to go with it!

I think we covered roughly 6 miles of ground on foot. Not positive because I had a little GPS interruption. (still kinda learning to use it) I'm beat! Did a number on my back doing all that boulder hopping.

Here's some of the fish. I landed one I thought was my pb wild bow at 16" but turns out it was about 14". Possibly still my PB wild bow but I might have caught his rival in the sierras a few months back. Not bad for a local wild bow! A hell of a fight on my 3 weight. Looked like he had a scar from being caught before!

Enjoy the pics. I think we have a few more pics than these to post up a bit later..

First fish went to annex. Great colors! Nice and healthy too.

Next in line was my biggest of the day.. 14"
not sure if it's my pb fly wild bow or not. KILLER fight! Sucker was heavy for a wild too! Maybe like 2lbs.

Very cool day. Long, but worth every step. I really hope Matt gets on here with a pic of that first fish I caught, I think he got a good snap of that one. That certainly rivals my PB stream trout in SoCal. Awesome day on the stream fellas, can't wait to do it again.

Here's a trio of 10 inchers I caught.

Yeah bruddah! Annex138 and I were talkin about doing a quick turn-around mission up there in a few weeks on Friday the 13th. I'll PM you if I get up there and we'll all hike in a few for some of those wilds. Maybe even stay a night? Kinda cold though.
