Well, Thought I would post this recent perch session,
per Wingnuts suggestion to not let "City Dad" take all the perch
posting burden":LOL: Of coarse I sure would rather take Wingnuts
burden off of his back and post some Halibutt pics!!!:ROFL:

fished were four, with only two producing.

Now here is why the"WHATS-UP!!!:Rolls Eyes: Thread subject heading!!!:Confused:

Went to four different areas at the ZU-BU coastline yesterday
For ONE-PERCH!!!:Sad:

Now today I went to Torrance, Redondo pier side of Topaz Jetty,and
Dockweiler!!!
Arrived at Topaz 6.15am still a little dark!!! No one fishing the area
YET!!!:Shocked: Started throwing the crack first (as a habit to beat the
skunk:Rolls Eyes:, Figured, after half hour of that "WHAT THE HECK AM I THROWIN THIS STUFF IN CORB AND HALIBUTT TERRITORY!!!:EyePop:
Switched to a swimmie, half hour of that, line catches around the reel,SNAP!!!:mad::Rolls Eyes:
Switched to a hardbait,then noticed as I looked around, there was five
different people fishin in that little area between Topaz Jetty and
the pier!!! Which is where I was after starting at the Jetty!!!
MAN!!!:mad: Those big Beans were sucker foolin me for about an hour,
right under the pier!!! and I was using Mussel too!!!:Rolls Eyes:
Well, Walking back towards the Jetty, found out those other fisherman
did not get anything either!!! Great lookin troughs and holes throughout
the whole area but no fish!!!
Went to Dockweiler for a Skunk also!!!
AAAAUUUHHH!!! Figure I gotta go up north ventura now to
get somethin decent in these conds. down here!!!

Very nice slab fest. I kinda had the same luck on this weekend but my target species were the flatties. One day it was on fire and the next was DEAD. Is it asking too much to put good days in the surf back to back.....LOL

You seem to have great luck with the red color grubs for Perch. I've had better luck with the camo or motor oil colors.
