Spottie Fever, cant get enough

Well the weather was just awesome today, and work was slow, so I decoded to put in another half day at work then head to NPH. I have spottie fever and Steve is going to lay low this weekend so he cant help cure me. Anyways, I arrvied about 1430 and was fishing in no time. Landed 5 Spotties, including my new PB at 2.18 lbs! Lost one that was even bigger, I almost cried, during the battle my heart was pounding even harder than when I had to gaff Steve's 1st big Halibut on the Hesbros!

It was a great afternoon of fishing, I missed many more hits!

As for myself, I stayed semi-local today and went to 72nd place where 10 other anglers and myself...
stood around...
scratching our heads...
waiting for a bite that never happened...
(at least not while I was there).
Actually, I knew to look else where if not getting bit, so I pounded a bit of sand also... without any luck:Embarrassed:

Man! I love those bass! They gotta be the strongest fish! They are all muscle! They remind me of Smallmouth Bass. I just wish they would jump like a Smallie does!

Those are some beautiful spotties, congrats on the pb! You mind sharing what size leadhead and type of plastic you prefer? I have that same reel, handles really well...is that 8lb test you have on it? Thanks for the report and feedback.
