Good Evening,

ANOTHER great day of Halibut fishing for the ICON! They ended up with 3 legals for their passengers, with 4 released. Fred Ichikawa of Torrance decided that today was his big fish day, so he hooked and landed a NICE 28.55 lb halibut, which puts him on top of the Leader Board! John Watkins of West Covina landed an 18.95 lb fish, and Terry James landed a 5.25 lb fish.

These big halibut want to really bite this season, and the ICON departs Wed-Sun at 9 a.m. for the Pot of Gold Derby.

Also, don’t forget that the Native Sun is running a 2 for 1 special Wed-Sun, until further notice. You must pre-pay to get this deal.

last years was 39 lbs cuz.....but see, it dont matter if you get a 40 lb fish within the 7 weeks, you STILL have a chance on the fish off day (which is a FREE trip) to still win the "Pot of Gold" prize $. The biggest fish of the first 7 weeks gets and annual pass, along with other prizes. Last years "fish off" fish was like 6 lbs!! Dude won over $2500 for that lil fish.....
