Launched @ 1100 from Davies to test my newly installed fishfinder (IT WORKS GREAT!!!!!). Baited up and got a tip from the bait guy that a 40# was caught by the shoe near the red buoy. Headed over there. First drop...a 23" hali (released), then a shorty Cabezon (released), 27" Halibut (culled) for my last hali of the day a 35", 21.5# a fatty per my digiscale. Off the water by 1300. Left my cam at home...no in water pics :(

Nice fish and cool setup.....I've been hearing a lot about you torpedo fishermen lately... Thats the new craze to offit those jet skis..I may have to up grade from my kayak to that someday so I can do so more inshore fishing..

Thanks all....this is my first season with the ski...hoping to fish the hell out of it. Im a transient from yakfishing. These skis have range of 100+ mi on a tank. My buddies and I are planning to fish Cat island starting april. Will be posting more reports!

it's been done...there's actually a race from jetskis held every month or so from Long Beach to Cat and back....goal is round trip under an hour. Right now record is under 51 min.

Did you have time to breath? You did all that in 2 hours? If anything, you're efficient. What are you going like 100 mphs?

DUDE!!! ive always thought about doing that, but i dont have a jetski. just a boat that isnt touching saltwater
