MY buddy and I hit the south bay from 0730-1400 for 20 SBB and 15 smelt for a slow pick at the fishes some on trolled fastracs and frenzies 2mph some, on small crocs, some on 3" chaurtruese gulp minnows. No one go to bait today. Early in the morning not much water movement and then when it started the wind counteracted it, tried 2 drift socks to match the tide to no avail. felt great to get back on the water slow day by my standards- later woody

At least you were out there fishing, that's where I'd rather be today instead of pushing a pen in the office. Hope your next trip lives up to your standards. Thanks for the report.

Ever try for corvina? Good job on the fish and try to take pictures next time. It would be great to see some spotties.

I am assuming you mean shortfin corvina the the ones with teeth, i usually dont see them until spring in low light conditions-dusk or dawn, chrome zara spooks is the only thing i have caught them on when they are busting bait-woody
