Bishop 1/23-1/25 with kids

Thursday night found out my girls had little school work friday and pulled out for our first exclusive father daughter fishing trip. Got to PVR friday and fished 12-4. I got my PB trout by far. Didn't have a scale, but would guess 7#'s. My girls could barely hold it. I assume it was a broodstock, correct me if I'm wrong. Day 2 was at Law's and E. line with good success, not WO for us but 8-10 fish per person C&R. Today ended at the dam for more success on small to medium standard issue. Seem to like most bait, not so much lures. I did catch the big one on a CD7 brown trout.

This was a great trip and think I lighted a fire for fishing in my 11 year old; its usually me that people are telling its dark and time to go home, but it was her this trip!

Absolutely awesome....It doesn't get better than that. That is definately one of the brooders and how sweet to hit it on a CD7. That must have been very exciting for you. The looks on your daughters faces and yours really says it all. The way you uploaded the pics is just fine. The only other way I know of how to do it is to upload the pics to a photobucket account and then link them to your post. There is a tutorial on this sight of how to do that.Either way.........You have to upload them somewhere but your post is just fine.

yztim I was the guy flyfishing next to you at E. Line St. Told you to set the kids up in that one spot where you pulled one in on a spoon. Nice brooder. I went up to PVR later that afternoon and it was like shooting fish in a barrel.

way to go dad. Get them out there as much as you can. It doesnt matter what you catch. memories is was you are after. And a PB isnt too bad either.
My lil girl is now 8 and she is losing some of the interest she once had. That Damn Hannah Montana!!!!!
Not a bad way to kill a couple days. I hope to get back up there soon.

Hey Tim,

I guess you caught that slug after we left. We were the 2 guys next to you that were taking video. We limited out in about an hour and bailed. This is a screen cap of all the dinks we caught. I am still working on the video:

My buddy Luke said to keep tossing that Rapala for some quality and it paid off. Nice fish! It was fun to see your girls catching and farming fish. We need more girls fishing!
