At the risk of upsetting the angler in the pic in question, I would like to know how much he actually weighs and how tall he is. His hand doesn't even reach all the way around the tail of that fish. It looks pretty fat to me. The pic is a crappy cell phone image and it might not faithfully represent the actual size of the fish.

If he is 6'3" tall and weighs 280 lbs it might actually weigh what the poster said it weighs, right?

The weight came from the scale on board the Redondo Special. 25, 35, 45 lb. I really don't care. I was a happy camper that day. It was caught on an old ambassador 5600 on a Californian bass rod loaded with 20 lb. ANDE line. It was caught in about 70 ft. of water on a 1/2 once slider on a 7/0 long shanked hook with a live squid about 400 yards off Rocky Point.
