Kayak Launch in Newport Harbor

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to launch a kayak in Newport Harbor. My son & I have a tandem Ocean Kayak and would like to try fishing the harbor in the Spring. Thanks for your help.

15th st. would probably be the easiest, good parking spots too.

there is a small beach at the m street dock which is really easy to lauch. also it is only a short paddle to the bait barge and cdm kelp

M Street is great. Nice sand launch right next to a dock and fresh water rinse. Plus free parking.

Bait barge isn't there right now. Won't be back until spring some time.

Thanks everyone for the information. Newport is such a large harbor and parking is always a problem. I'll check out the recommended spots.
