SO ...... originally planned to launch @ 15th st and float tube NPH EARLY Sunday @ around 2 am, but decided not to ride the tide out till sun-up ... the walk back to the truck sucks!!!!
Ended-up fishing off a mini dock located just south of Lido ... 3 am-10am...
Soaked the big rod with half squids on 1/0 worm hooks for NPH butts on 15lb test ... no hali's, but 5 HEALTHY bat rays ... the largest ... 31" wingspan took me 10+ min to reel in ... pic is below!!
15+ barred surf perch and 2 bay bass ... d/s pumpkinseed gulp plastic and shad 4" robos ... 1/4 d/s weight .... pic below of the largest (sorry for the low light quality)
all-in-all ... 22 living things pulled out of the ocean ALL returned ... case of Bud Light ... pack of smokes ... good times with a buddy
