Got to get out early Sat morning to try out a new Fly Rod and Reel I got for XMas.
Got to the lake about 7:15am, air temp was upper 60's, so a great time to be there. There was maybe 3 other people there fishing. The DFG planted trout sometime within the last 2 weeks, so I was not expecting anything, just wanted to get some casting practice in.
All in all, it was a great day. No fish... but a great day the same.
Found out...
There is no cost to fish this lake.
They allow Float Tubes.
There is no cost to launch a Float Tube.
I do believe I will be coming back here often... can't beat the price!
