Kayaked CDM today

Well, with the amazing weather I decided to take out the yak for some alone time. the water was crystal clear, saw a ray swim under me that was twice my size amazing. Fished the kelp for 3 hours no camera sorry, the fish total is as followed...

3 kelp bass (all released, )
2 little coodas released,
1, 2 foot leopard shark, fun fight released,
2 keeper hali
1 dink hali released
1 dink sheepshead
and a sun tan and some great alone time.

CDM = Corona Del Mar - Quick left turn just outside Newport Harbor.

I was out there on thursday with similar results. The visibility had to have been at least 20 feet!!!

Yeah the Vis was amazing I watched one of the bass strike my plastic. yeah I fish there alot. it would be fun to fish with others. Wait I was there thurs as well, where you in a boat or a double yak?

We were in a double Yak, a white/cream colored malibu. Were you in a single kayak? I am kind done fishing there untill summer (I am going back to school on monday) but come sumer time I would love too meet someone out there.
