It's a completely undisturbed day, working, on the phones, then the invite around 11:30am. My cousin calls and asks that if I have the time, he has been at Sante Fe Dam and, if I'de like to join that would be cool.
My work was finished detailing the calls I made. Yes I prepared and got there at about 12:00pm if not a bit later.
He was kind of upset that he had been there all morning and no bites. In fact the three other people on the resevoir also had skunk.:Skunk:
I said, "Pick your stuff up and follow me." So we set up camp to where I directed us.
He caught a fish within 10 min.:Fishing Catch:

There was life back in him and thats good to see. He wasn't chasing ducks, getting snagged, or desribing the dwelling and migration of the local wildlife.:Thumbs Up:
Then "Zibit Twitch Booyah "!! - I nailed a Peter Panner, but a little bigger than the norm, just about 5 min later.:Fishing Catch:
Baited that hook, cast out, sat down and "Zibit Twitch Booyah"!! Simon says a little bigger please. And it was so, I had a Duo :Fishing Catch:
My cousin is beside himself. "Wow two in like 10 min"! I bait, cast out and all is well. We met a guy named Jose that said to call him Jesse. I dunno Witness Protection? ...who knows. He relayed he likes that area and gave us his blessings then left for his own "Casting Station".:Cold Fishing:
I would say maybe it's 12:40pm by now... not too hot.... very little breeze.... "Zibit Twitch Booyah"!! I hit number Three.:Fishing Catch:

I get him to the shore to feed him the "Stringer Jerky" and with hook still in his mouth.... "Zibit Twitch Booyah"!! .. the other Rod goes "Bentendo". Yes, I pulled number three high up away from water to rest, Reel in number Four, drag Four up high, feed them both "Stringer Jerky" then proceed to de-hook. It's now 1:00pm:Fishing Catch:

My cousin has the sad clown face on now. Claims he has to go soon, blah, blah, blah. I said, " Try my spot, move your stuff over here." So he did. ... and "Zibit Twitch Booyah"!! I have Numero Cinco de Trouto. and he hates me.. :Finger: ...haha ..:Fishing Catch:

He's pissed and mumbles a bit. Then guess what? His rod goes "woop woop" and he about lost his mind. :EyePop: He had number two and was happy again.:Fishing Catch:

I am there now at about 1:20pm and we decide to split, I have limit and he is happy with two. I reel in my last rod...."WHAMO"!!! ... I had "Sante Fe Six Rockin my Stix". I gave him that one so he went home with three. :Fishing Catch:
