Got to the wood(sunday) at 9:30 with the full moon in full force!!! Not tomany boils(not normal) but we did manage 4 fish! 2 of which were 6lbs and the other 2 were around 2 each! Oh and there was no wind up there as it blows like a motha down the hill!!!! We caught 3 of the fish on mattshad, and the other one one a 5in. Storm swimbait!

Good job! Full moon is the best night fishing!
Are you usually park car on the road and walk trail to the lake? or Camping in the wood. I know the lake is closed by 10 p.m. (no fishing after 10 p.m.)

This would be a new rule on me. Lake parking lot closes this time of the year at 7:00pm but fishing all night is common and never heard of a 10PM hard closing time.
Something I don't know about my favorite lake?

you can fish silverwood 24 hours a day. Either park by the dam, or on the 138 to hit Cleghorn or the points to the right of the dam. Best striper action on that lake is from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m.
