Sharing Hotel Room in Irvine Friday 1/16/08 [Archive]

I got a hotel room at the Irvine Wyndam for cheap the night before the Irvine Lake Event.

If anyone wants to share hollar! Its a nice 200+/night room and I paid like 60 :D

I figure its better than driving an hour from la and then getting in line. I would rather drive in Friday, fix up my rigs, and chill in Irvine, saving me a bit of a drive and sleep time.

A $ 200.00 room for $ 60.00 an night ? If I had the $$$ I was you I would of stayed all weekend to fish all 3 days.

How close is the hotel to the lake?

I mapped it out. It is about what fifteen min drive. It is 8.8 miles to the lake. It is a lot closer than the 70 min drive I normally gotta do...I figure if I can get as much sleep as I can the better.

Just a question.
I'm scheduled to work on Friday night until 10pm. I think I will call in sick or get deathly ill and go home early.
