Sunday was Cool, Clear and Quiet and I knew where I was going. There is a rush that comes up in through your feet to the top of your head when you hear it's roar. There is a power that lifts you when your near it, when you feel it. Years ago being surrounded in it made me think back.

The Moon was at it's fullest in 15 years. Indeed a wonderment and empowerment.

This day we headed into the coast for a re visit to her carressing waves and familiar tones. Three of us, Bingjr, Jimmy Loo Hoo and myself took to the docks at Shoreline Yacht Club.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_062644AA.jpg

It was early and the gaze out into the marina was a step closer to her granduer.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_063203AA.jpg

Bingjr started off casting the Gulp Shad into the empty skips.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_073910AA.jpg

While Jimmy Loo Hoo wondered if that was all there was swimming out there.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_065250AA.jpg

There was a rhythm to our curious intent. We all started " Fishsticking " the Pylons for the tender "Sea Kittens."

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_065617AA.jpg

And I continued to pay homage to the " Fishosensuality " that mother ocean provides all creatures with the " Moondoggie Ocean Tribal Dance ".

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/dan2009_0111_070019AA.jpg

As the light filled the air from the generous sun there was one thing that needed attention. One catch that had to come before anymore was to be tried on the salty swells.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_065215AA.jpg

The catch of champions, Breakfast !!

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/244484578053_0_0.jpg

Suddenly there she was. The fresh flowing breeze that almost holds you where ever you go. And her liquid embrace.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/Shoreline%2002/2009_0111_080545AA.jpg

I approached with no remorse to the bounty that awaits beneath these lapping swells. " You know me I have been within your grasp before, fellow ocean brother, I've been here before, come what may there will be blood."

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/dan2009_0111_081831AA.jpg

Jimmy Loo Hoo and Bingjr prepare to cast off into the liquid void.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_080741AA.jpg

Then as if observing the event without audio, the massive Over Run that Bingjr must now face causes us to imagine his words, " Damn Line, *grumble grumble*, Where did this extra Line come from, *grumble grumble*, Who put all these rocks here?!!"

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_083229AA.jpg

Later we swaggered back to the S.S. Cantina De Loo Hoo and grabbed more beers for another " Dock Fish Persuasion ".

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/2009_0111_073717AA.jpg

Bingjr looked out into the calm of the marina and seen a Seal catching a Baracuda with graceful ease. His feelings he could not hold back " Pigeons of the Sea, .. DIE !! "

This started Jimmy Loo Hoo into a catching frenzy. One, Two, Eight tiny White Sea Bass. Bingjr One, Three, and more. Also tackling the dwarf Kingfish. I too taming the youth of the White Sea Bass.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/244484510341_0_0.jpg

But then there was a quaking, the dock moved side to side as Bingjr raised a Baracuda from the emerald depths and shouted, " There, oh Pigeon of the Sea, This one is Mine !! .. Ahhh hahahahahah! " He needed that moment of re balance, .....Man....over Beast......

If there were french fries of the ocean, they would be Smelt.

http://i432.photobucket.com/albums/qq45/djslider64/Shorline%20011109/244484344709_0_0.jpg

I sat and stared out into the open sea beyond the marina and felt complete for this day. We may have only landed 24 White Sea Bass, 2 Kingfish, 2 Smelt and One Baracuda that were all too small. But we remained on top of the food chain non the less.

Driving home in the dense urban jungle, traffic, horns, heat - I blurred it all away with what cannot be described. It's a tribal mark upon the souls of thoughs that have seen all things Ocean. . . I'm In An Ocean State Of Mind.

We caught a few queenfish, but the majority were juvenile WSB. Some of the slightly larger ones (not pictured) had the marks on there back , the marks sort of disappear when they are out of the water but very dark when they are pissed off. :)

No nice Sandies, and No nice Butts, but some action none the less. It was a gorgeous day.
