Heading out to Perris tomorrow in a boat. Anyone have any recent reports or info on the largemouth bite? I heard it took 28+ pounds to win a tourney there last weekend.

Use your finder to target the X-Mas trees they just planted. Also I saw a TV show last year same time where they were vertically jigging and using crankbaits in 50 feet tied to a 1 ounce sinker and three way swivel. They were out there with the local fish and game guy and slamming them. It was same time last year. Stay 40-60ft. You might find a few spread out on shoreline but just straffers.
