Oceanside Pier 1/10

Daughter and I caught a 23 inch halibut off of the Oceanside Pier this weekend. Bait - squid

I've never fished the Oceanside area. My sister lives there and my bro in law works on Camp Pendelton. I have to go visit her and drag her to the beach for some flattie hunting. Once we took a walk from old town oceanside to the beach just for the walk and that area looked perfect for tossing hardbaits and krocs.
