Hey, any of you trout slayers have the inside scoop on the next trout stocking at the PUDD? DFG isn't posting the stocking dates in advance anymore. Looking forward to some bass swimbait action a day or two after the stocking.

i went to puddingstone, on the 4th of Jan i was crusing on my kayak going to various places, in the end did not get a bite nor ofcourse a fish. Next, i was at puddingstone on the 6th, and also did not catch anything nor a bite. IT was pretty sad, i used worms, power bait, fish eggs, jigs, etc. natha. But all in all don't read this and be discouraged, every fishermen has this mentality, there will be next time, unless the water evaporates.

Thanks for the responses you all. I fished yesterday at the Pudd. all day with my buddy and we did pretty well. Caught a total of 9 stocker size trout nothing to brag about. PB was the bait of choice yesterday.

Planning to hit up Castaic's lower lagoon this weekend for some trout action any recommendations?
