Well I decided to give the shore another try today after work. I have had a tough time as of late but when you live a mile from a fishery like this it's hard to stay home and do laundry! :lol:
I grabbed my gear and was fishing by 3:30. Water was clear at the shore, visibility from the shore was about 8 feet. Water was cold...no temp gage from shore sorry. Air temp was 74 degrees. Nice day!
I started with the usual arsenal of robos. All drop shotted and in various colors and styles. ( I cant tell you EVERYTHING! LOL) I fished for about an hour without a strike and then finally I get the loving tap tap tap...SWING!!! BENDO!!! I knew it wasnt a dink dink but I also knew it wasnt very big. Turns out it went 2 lbs 9 oz on my digi. SAAAAWWWEEEETTT!!! Its a very tough bite there right now. I will take it!
I fished for another 30 minutes for nolove and left. I met browntrouter out there...nice to meet you buddy!

mother f'er you should of called me i was thinking about trying my luck again since i've been skunked 2 times in a row but decided to take a nap instead hahaha.

next time you go out for a shore mission on the goon during the week give me a ring i'll gladly meet up with ya since we are practically neighbors now.

btw good job on punking the skunk the goon has been rough so far this year. I've tossed just about every color of robo and other worms that i have and you know i got tons of plastic.


and i have not fished with ya in some while we need to get out there and tag team these sucka's like b-4

Nice job. You should try a green with purple tip Slurpie worm. They work great.

No problem man....I was real close to dropping my crap and swimming out to you guys to see what the hell!!!??? lol One of you cast about 10 feet from my feet which of course sounded like you were tossing a duffle bag at me!! lol No worries. Nice piggy there good job.
