Two Late Evening Striper Hits

[Striper Bill]

Went up to the duct again and casting out about 30 minutes and HITS ON. Landed the first one at 7.7 lbs and had to get the hook out of his mouth and the net twisted up with him and discovered it bent the hooks so I tied on another lure casted out and got a second hit and its on, it kept taking my line out and It was a fighter and got it up to shore and got it in with my net. Landed this one at 10.11 lbs. Don't know the lengths yet, I will add them later. Here is the pics taken...

Thanks everyone used the L-Rattle Trap and it was fun. I wish for that 40-50- 68.7 lber still. Wouldn't that be nice. Wishing all of us that we land the big one this year!:Smile:

one is a stripe and the other looks like a wiper for those who don't know or what i was told (LMB+stripe=wiper )

I believe a wiper is a Striped bass & White Bass cross breeded.... and they both look like stripes to me.... wipes are short and fat.

Good answer hippi right on, correct. Do you believe the price of the fishing license, wow so I had to go out and land 41 lbs of stripers and I did for the 41.20 its payed off already. Just starting my new year and wish you all the best of one too!
