Riverwalk,,,major bendo on the SMURF rod,,1/7/09

Decided to take my daughter out and learn to ride her bike W/O the training wheels so off to the riverwalk lk bike path,,also took her SMURF pole along just in case she< AND ME> needed a little break from the peddlin practise.

First thing she wants to do is get her rod in the water once were there,THAT,S MY GIRL!!!:Cool:

So we bait up her rod with PB and get to fishing
and right away,,BENDO!!!!She was saying ,,I CAN,T HOLD ON DADDY but with a little encourgement she finally got him turned

The little smurf rod did it,s job well
and she handled thAT trout like a WELL OIL,D FISHING MACHINE!!

This trout was HUGE ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,to her,
almost a 1/3 as long as she is:Wink:LOL

Next we got on our bikes and she managed to do 2 laps around the lake W/O the training wheels.

All in all we had a blast.

It looks like she is gonna need an ACID wrapped rod. The torque is really twisting hers up.
