Holy moly.. Are the trout that are raised in Mt. Lassen steriod trout? Or was that natural growth?

LittleBassMike....Mt. Lassen raises and markets triploid rainbows....so, no, it is not natural growth but by genetic manipulation. That's a nice lookings triploid.

i caught a couple trout at corona last weekend that had belly's full of eggs so there not all triploids. triploids are sterile.

FYI: a belly full of eggs is not dispositive of a trout's ability to actually reproduce....triploided or not.
