Since few if any of you will ever fish this lake, I will let the pictures do most of the talking.

This is a private lake located within the community of Bear Valley Springs. The lake is big enough for electric boats and has lots of structure for its assortment of fish. The lake is stocked with catfish, bluegill, crappie,LMB and trout.

Nice pics! I like how you show each fish with the lure in its mouth!

Would be nice to be able to fish that lake. Since its not really a report though, wouldn't it be a better post for the "Photos" forum? Just a thought. :Big Grin:

So how much are those houses going for? It would be worth it to buy a house up there just to fish that lake. LOL Nice report!!

I used to live on Crystal Lake Lane in between the 2nd green and the third hole tee's (lake front house on the end of Crystal Lake Lane) for about 6 months and fished 4 Island Lake a lot! Fun place for the outdoors lover like all of us! Thanks for bringing back some memories of that place, way cool!!!

That is the best part about these private communities, kinda gives you a preview of what the big lakes used to be like. Well at least that's what I always hear. So how much do those houses surrounding the lake go for????

these lakes are very common in desert cities? my buddy has a lake just like that across the street from his house, he lives off the 15 freeway, except i think his lake is big enough for power boats.

thanks to these lakes that I got into fishing. I remember being a kid and never catching anything. Well 15 yrs later I moved into a private lake community and felt what it was like to catch a fish. Now i have been hooked for two years. i have put so many hours on the water and have hundreds of fish under my belt. I have even gone to all the lakes that I visited as a kid to kill that skunk that pestered my youth fishing experiences. Now its just a matter of catching some of the fish that I haven't had a chance to experience, striper being one of them. I hope this year brings all of us fun new experiences.

Thanks for the report and pics.

It sure is amazing what happens when there isn't as much pressure. Glad to see there are some nice places like that left in Socal.
