I've been hitting up Perris off and on the last couple of days for an hour or two each day, and I've been catching decent size trout-16 to 17 inches. Somebody on FNN had posted a tip about the Thomas Bouyant, so I picked one up (watermelon) at wallyworld, and it's been treating me well-fishing from shore at the launch ramp, I've taken home three trout, the smallest being 16", and I have c&r four bass and two 'gills while chasing the trout. This last trout I caught today (12/31) had a $10.00 reward tag as an added bonus!

here is a pic of one of them- I didn't take pics of each one, but they were all nice nd large with full tails. Notice the cuts in the tail on this one...the others had full tails, but this one was the heaviest of them all. I don't know why the tail was cut in the manner that it was, maybe it is a marking of the hatchery?

Nice! Speaking of tagged fish, I was there last week and I talked to a guy who had four tagged trout on his stringer. I think you have to go to the DFG website in order to claim your money. Congrats

Good job. I have one of those Thomas Buyounts in with my gear somewhere, I never thought at throwing it at the trout there though. Thanks for the tip.
