After resolving the wader issue, I was eager to get out and try out the new pair. I was welcomed to Cherry Beach with absolutely clear skies and no wind just after 8am. Armed with misc. LC's, Yo-Z's, etc. I walked a fairly good stretch of beach for no love. The water was quite clear for most of the morning until the tide started to peak around 10:30, then it started to cloud up a bit. After trying out several Yo-Z colors (these things were fooling the birds but not the fish), I switched back to the LC. After about 10 casts I finally get a surprise SLAM about 6 feet from shore! NICE!
Short but a flatty none the less! (LC for scale)

Four casts later . . . another shorty.

Both fish quickly released. After that, nothing. Headed home at noon.
Met a rad guy out there named Pete (not sure if you're on here but it was cool to meet you).
