Other Bones Found In Canal In 2001

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. -- Authorities said a father and son fishing at a Coral Springs canal pulled up what appeared to be a human skull.The pair made the find Friday morning in a residential neighborhood. The Broward Medical Examiner's Office was analyzing the object to see if it really is a skull.If that's the case, authorities will try to match it to bones found in the same canal in July 2001. Those bones were found by a maintenance crew that was clearing out a pipe.Investigators determined the bones likely belonged to a black man who was in his 20s or 30s, but they could not identify him.They also could not determine how long the bones had been there or how the man died.

A member here about 4 or 5 yrs ago, asked me to show him where the duct fishing was OK..
We met and I took him to my spot (off Summit Valley Rd)..

Second trip there he snagged and pulled hard to break off...
Pulled up a human Jaw Bone, freshly torn off the skull...... So the rest was down there!!!!!

Never did get the update on what the Sheriff divers found????

He said he would never go back..... :Shocked:

A buddy of mine was down at the Colorado River about 20 years ago, when a dead guy came floating by. Freaked him out.

Actually I remember reading that report Nessie, on what was found.....Human skeleton sitting inside a burned out car shell. Never heard more on the ID or CAD......I would freak out, but cool just the same...and hummmmmmm we drink that aqueduct H20...OFG

I have a story awhile back im fishing some hole in town my line is hung up on something I pull back slowly it drags a bit and soon it was free to my shock (no LIE)my hook is tangled with long locks of what appeared to be womans hair it had all kinds of some aquatic bugs crawling all over YUCK I removed the hair in question and fished on!! just kind of makes me wonder?Hey joe???
