Well,
we didn't decide to rush on to pyramid so we got there about an hour or so after they opened.

It was COLD!!!Like Karlow said,some real strong gusts and 50*- Temp.

We started on trolling our old spot and when my dad let down the rig...ZZZZZ first fish,first minute...haha!

We kept on doing passes and scratched out a couple of dinks(1 1/2lbers.+) and we decided to troll on...then Bam! We got hooked up a couple more times...

Then it just fizzled away then we moved on to try bait and wait.It sucked!!!It was real windy and cold!!We decided to troll some more.

Then we went to a cove we've never trolled before...Then SNAGGGGG!!!WTF?We thought it was snagged,then the rod started shakin' and we knew it was a bigger model!!
When my dad was reeling up,it felt wierd,then...SNAP!!But,It still felt wierd,then we realized there was a decent sized one on too!:EyePop:It was about 3lbs. and it was a double hookup...We trolled the ove some more but none to be seen...

We trolled on back to the spot and we scratched a couple smaller ones...
We kept 7 in total...threw back at least 5 dinks...

I believe because of them raising the water,it stirred up the bite and Mr. Stripey was scattered around....basstards!:Twisted:

Congrats ta both ya, I would have went on out but I was real tired and had ta rest up for work today after a few days o fishing over the holidays..

Good ta see the ramp open, I know the bite is going to do something down yonder there, for those who brave those temps....I'm sure it went up around 32 degrees at least...

Wingy,your gonna get the privelage to ride in my boat one of these days...lol...i checked out your bouy and didn't meter anything....and couldn't stay put because of those damn gusts....Were gonna have to kill us something!!!!!!j

It's was so cold you used the bass for ice I see.

It's at lockjaw lake.
