Got up at 6am to meet bro-in law at 7am.Many technical obstacles in the morning at the pad almost grounded me,but fishing is the goal.Ever had one of those mornings?Can't find the car keys,wheres my net?!,wake up wife and ask her mindless questions so she's ragin...Anyways I finally got to the lake at 8 something not expecting a whole except a good time with my bro-in law.Pay at the gate turned right to about 50 yards pass the kids pond.Fished there for about two hrs.with no luck.Tried every color PB and drop shotted trout worms as well.still nada.We made a move to the sandy beach area and fished the rest of the day there.Hooked on one using Gulp chunk chart.with a very short leader as the water was murky.Brother Tim got the skunk (haha)and he will be back sunday for redemtion and more beer......Im out
