Ally's Big Halibut

My daughter has wanted a big halibut for some time. A few weeks ago she got her wish! We were fishing the Cabrillo Marina for bass with plastics when she got this one... on 6lb. test! We forgot the net and were paddling for a net that she saw on one of the docks (we were just gonna borrow it) when I was able to get my fingers in the gill and lift it aboard. She (thought) she took a picture of it when we first landed it but I guess she didn't press the button hard enough. Her personal best yet!

She was finally willing to lift it up to show someone and he was complimenting her on her catch. She wouldn't touch it when it was alive.
