castaic west ramp monday and wednsday 12-23

got to get to the west ramp twice this week. first time i got one big trout on yellow marshmellows. A group of guys caught at least 40 on the dock

second time my uncle got two trout on rainbow candy gulp dough. this one guy caught 20 using corn flavored pb. one guy got a bass on a worm

LOTS of trout activity, at west ramp+

i was wondering if anyone was fishing for stripers and if anyone had any luck but its nice to see that the trout are still there

those trout will probably run off somewhere different

I have a bag full of power bait, gulp alive! fake night crawlers, yellow marshmellows, salmon eggs ...etc

The texas bass fishing side of me will not allow me the patience to fish that way. I have to be working lures or it just doesnt keep my short attention span occupied. I bring two rods in hope I can bait one out and let it sit but I am never satisfied with that....I just end up with two diff spinners or crank baits and throwing those. I guess if they arent hitting action, I am not catching.
