[FISHSTIX]

My original plans for this weekend were to roll out to the vine and fish the tourney but after counting the money I had left over from x-mas shopping I realized that wouldnt be happening.. Thats just like me to always mis-manage my funds thinking I have more than I really do.:Angry: Went to plan B but couldnt decide to head towards the lagoon or the surf. I figured its been a while since the last time I hit the salt so checked the tide chart and decided I would sleep in and head out to fish the incoming tide in the afternoon. Hit the sand around 1230 to find nice conditions and not alot of junk in the water. For most of the day I fished the d/s mixed with a few casts here and there of the iron. Switched back over to the d/s and after a few casts I got a flatty that was just shy of 22"

Thanks to a couple that was watching the fight I was able to get a pic with the future monster. After enjoing her company for a few seconds I gently slid her back into the puddle she came from and off she went.:Big Grin: I had alot of short bites nothing heavy but im guessing they were all peanuts cuz (shoe size 10) I finally stuck one on the hook.

Stayed a little longer after that before calling it a day. Sorry for the crazy title but I dont know what happend.
