going down to San Diego next week surf fishing

is any of you surf boys know any good locals for me to hit up for some good surf fishing action

willing to drive as far north as san onofre

i don't know any good spots or any spots in general.

pm or reply here and give me some advise if you wouldn't mind.

this will be after x-mas i'll be down to visit my woman but while she's at work im wanna test out the surf.


or possibly and good ocean spots that i can take my tube out on too would be awesome.

if anyone else wants to join me we can work something out and meet up and double team some fish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all i really know is i'm gonna be near downtown sd in North Park off the 805. I truthfully have no clue about anything down in SD other then how to get to my g/f's house haha

Here goes. Try checking in at Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle on highway 101 in South Oceanside and talk to Hugh Cobb or someone on his staff. He posts weekly surf fishing reports and even has weekly jackpots. The beaches off of North Carlsbad and Oceanside should yield you a good shot at fish. Hope that helps.

im gonna try my luck and travel from la jolla up to san onofre and hit these spots in order.
