Sup everyone! I'm planning to go on my first trip tomorrow. Can't wait to use my new Daiwa SL-X20SHA matched with a teramar! I'm looking for a full day boat either near or around OC. Also, please give me some recommendations on what jigs I should bring. I know cudas are on the chew, and I have the jigs for that already, but what other jigs should I take with me. Promise to post a report when I get back.

Thanks Ghetto Dad! Any idea on what they're catching in Catalina right now?

i went to catalina about a couple weeks ago. we were mostly catching sheephead, bonita, calico bass. the yellowtail and white sea bass were nowhere to be seen.im not sure but i think the liberty is running overnights right now http://www.sportfishingreport.com/pages ... oat_id=382 (http://www.sportfishingreport.com/pages/boatdetail.php?boat_id=382). or maybe its only on the weekends. the spitfifre is also a good boat. it leaves at 6 and returns at 6 http://www.spitfiresportfishing.com the spitfire might stay local for the cuda bite! :D
Good luck!
