Fishing in late Dec./early Jan.?

Any suggestions for fishing spots during the last week of December and the first week of January between Bridgeport and Reno? Fished here in the spring, but I don't know if there's a chance this time of year.

I beleive the only thing open in California between Bridgeport and Reno is the East Walker River - C&R only.

All other waters are closed until the last Saturday in April.
