I've been really busy, so I haven't had a chance to do much fishing. I made the best of my free time and went fishing 2 days in a roll. The first day was spent freshwater fishing at LNL and today was spent on the Pursuit doing the saltwater thing. I took advantage of the $45 dollar Wednesday promotion, which they are currently running. For those that don't know I think it's a great deal. The cost is only $45 to fish Catalina Island aboard the Pursuit every Wednesday. Fishing wasn't great nor slow, but somewhere in between.

Had some nice cured sardine, mix with some anchovies in the bait tank.

Did the troll thing to locate the bonita, it felt like I was tuna fishing.

Did a little bit of rock fishing also. Nice double on the first drop. Too bad the limit is only one per person, but nice fish anyways Charlie.

Some nice reds were caught also.

The day started out nice and flat.

It ended beautifully, making for a nice crossing home. It seems like everyone had some fish to take home. Another great trip aboard the Pursuit. Thanks for reading and goodluck on your next fishing adventure, Pokerface.

Man it looked a bit chilly in the morning. Two days of fishing in a row on weekdays has to be nice. No crowds and good fishing. You sir are a lucky man. Thanks for the report.

Those are some healthy lookin sardines aswell.

Nice job out there and thanks for the report!

Ive been wanting to get more into saltwater fishing, and this sounds like a pretty good deal. Might have to look into it.

Thanks again!

Hi pokerface12,

Great pics and report .... as always. Looks like everyone caught a whole bunch of fishys. In your last pic did I notice a little furbag's head sticking out of the water with a smile on its face ? :)

Great pics, I see the stern starboard corner is black 3 next best 4. Gotta remember that for future reference. Hope it's first come first serve now ... unlike it was a year or so ago !! Boat didn't look too crowded from your pics so that's a plus. That was my worry.

Keep those Persuit reports commin' !! I guess your LNL report is on the freshwater board.

Thanks,

JapanRon
