Hi CalamARI,

Thanks. It sure is a temptation to put some meat on those 'Beavers' with guys pulling in the Sheephead hand over fist !! Guys ... two on each side of me limited out on nice Sheephead BEFORE I got my first fish ! ha ha ha

Think I'll try some other downsized baits.

Hi supasportkid,

Thanks buddy. Yes, and from talking to the guys on the boat .... the skippers are being good about fishing really varied spots daily. Its good to see skippers carrying out good conservation practices and not just paying lip service to the concept.

Hi deanhall32,

Thank you. Soooo you've heard all the stories from ghettodad ! :)

I'll ask my buddy who comes at 2am to buy my ticket/# and then he can come back again from the back of the line for his as he likes a number not so highly desired by others. :)

Await your next, always interesting report,

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Season,

Hi cappo,

Good deal. The slack current was a great advantage in getting down and staying with the lighter leadheads. I'd use the lightest weights or whatever that would still keep me where I wanted to be. Most of the successful guys were using 4oz weights in the 110 feet of water.... deepest of the day.

Await your report,

JapanRon

Hi fatherof5,

On a sunny day, the deck of the boat is often warmer .... once the haze has cleared than on the beach !

Go for it !! Then give us a report.
