I was at pyramid on saturday, came around a cove and witnessed this bobcat pull this striper out of the water. Looks like it was already dead before the cat got to it. It tried to take it up the cliffs but was too heavy. It looked to be around 20#s. I didnt want to get any closer to it, Im sure that cat would jack me up for trying to mess with its food.

That's exactly what I saw at Silverwood this past weekend minus the dead striper.

Thats as bad as the Hawk reaching in the River at the Kern and grabbing my fish haha. He killed the dam thing with his talons..I have a video after he dropped it.

Don't see Bobcats that often. Very stealthy, and unfortunately not that many of them around anymore. I actually saw a dead one on the road by my house last week.
There's a Bobcat at Silverwood that could have probably handled that striper! Man talk about a once in a lifetime shot. Way cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and some get use to people. Not as shy as the big cat's (mountain lions).
