Ymin72, Fleaflicker, and I drove up to Santa Barbara today to fish aboard the Stardust out of Sea Landing on a 1/2 day. Pretty good boat, Captain, and Crew (Sal is a good deck boss and Casey cooks up a mean burger). The three of us all caught limits of rockfish (no one else caught limits so we showed Ventura County how we do it LA stylez) around the 12 mile reef aka "the dome". Big Boscos, Strawberries, a couple Reds and Lings ended up on the cutting board today. I had 3 "short Lings" all around 24" but I C&R Lings under 24.6 lbs. haha Fleaflicker landed a legal ling, and Ymin... well Ymin72 caught a buzz as usual. hahaha j/k... kinda. No pics, so keep it in your pants boys.
