Any ideas what this is worth? Its got very very very low hours. I just had it serviced and carb cleaned out and it runs excellent! I don't need it. had it mounted as a kicker but the motor and mount are too heavy for my old transom....so has to go. This would be a great motor for a aluminun Irvine warrior!!! Give me ideas....will consider trades also.

I haven't picked it back up from service, so no pics yet. I'll take good pics when I pick it up with my boat this week. If you have any questions about its reliability...John at John's Custom Marine has it and said its a great running motor!!!

With the economy today the engine is worth $500-550 if it runs good and has low hours as you say.

Here is one to give ya an idea > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5-hp-evinrude-4-stroke-clean_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a3Q 7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQh ashZitem180303851090QQitemZ180303851090

What did you do at Universal? I am getting rid of my house...doing the upscale apartment thing for a while until the economy gets better...also, my family are contactors and interior finish people :) The boat came from a custom cabinet maker/wood finish/anything known to man with wood guy haha. My dad has had a ton of his work in magazines...but he's out of state

How cool is that? Unless your trying to trade work for a motor lol . I built the tower and entry on the Saddle Ranch Chophouse at the entry of Universial as well as the bandstand deck and a bunch of other stuff around there. Gotta love a brother carpenter. Oh well, you want a nice horse? lol

Mav., I am sure if you look around you will find a trailer for your boat for a nice price. Look in the Western Outdoor News Marine service Directory towards the end of the paper. Listed is Baja Custom Trailers , Inc. www.baiatrailers.com (http://www.baiatrailers.com) . I am sure there is others listed. Here is another one,

www.ABTrailers.com (http://www.ABTrailers.com)

True Bigred. Maybe call a welding fab. shop and they could repair it MUCH cheeper than buying a new trailer .

To store your motor for any significant amount of time you need to winterize it.

Not a big fan of their products, except for the Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer.

I think Mav's motor has been stored long enough and he will be using it quite often now.

You guys are awesome! The trailer needs new wiring, a new light, two new fenders and the rear cross bar is bent from someone dragging it too low. It works, but my confidence in it is low. I just don't want any problems with the babies in the truck when we tow. I would like to tow it to Lake Isabella at my Mom's. Right now i'm not that confident about that.
